The second edition of the Salón de Proveedores (Providers fair) took place on october 15th at the event center of the El Tesoro Commercial Park in Medellín, Colombia. The event was organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Medellín, Antioquia as part of its cluster « Más mercados, más negocios » (More markets, more business). More than 410 business meetings were scheduled among local entrepreneurs and around 30 national buyers.
The 162 providers came from multiples industries (services, textile, tourism, telecom and advertising) and from different regions of the country. They presented their offer to the hosted buyers and held networking meetings in order to generate new commercial opportunities. The Chamber of Commerce of Medellin used Eventtia to organize this event allowing all participants to plan an agenda of relevant business meetings. All participating companies had the opportunity to meet the hosted buyers for 20 minutes, present their offer and start new deals. Matchmaking is one of Eventtia’s most powerful modules and it has proved once again the value it adds to all event stakeholders.
