One payment provider for every market.

Large brands often run all their payments on Adyen. Connecting it to Eventtia keeps event revenue in the same merchant account and the same reports. Adyen is built into Eventtia, so there is nothing to develop.

Setup

Connected in one session.

You need an active Adyen account and access to its Customer Area. Full instructions are in the help center.

  1. Step 01

    Create API credentials

    In your Adyen Customer Area, open Developers, then API credentials. Create credentials and copy the API key.

  2. Step 02

    Add the client key and allowed origin

    In the client settings, generate the client key and add https://connect.eventtia.com as an allowed origin.

  3. Step 03

    Fill in your event

    In Eventtia, open the event settings, select Adyen and paste the API key, client key, account code and hostname (from Developers, API URLs).

  4. Step 04

    Create the webhook

    In Adyen, create a webhook to the Eventtia URL given in the help center, so payments show in Eventtia.

Do I need my own Adyen account?

Yes. You connect your own Adyen account to your event, and payments go to that account.

Does Eventtia charge a fee on payments?

No. Eventtia charges no fee on payments. Adyen charges its own processing fees, under your contract with Adyen.

Which payment methods can attendees use?

The methods that your Adyen account offers for your country and currency. They depend on your Adyen contract and settings.

How do refunds work?

In-platform refunds are only available with Stripe. With Adyen, you make the refund in your Adyen account and cancel the registration in Eventtia, which updates the attendee record.

Can I use a different Adyen account for each event?

Yes. The payment provider and its credentials are set per event, in the event's advanced settings.

Which currency will attendees pay in?

You set the currency per event. Your Adyen account must accept that currency.
