Wompi sends every transaction change to Eventtia, so you see approved and declined payments on the attendee record. Wompi is built into Eventtia, so there is nothing to develop. The integration works with Wompi Colombia.

Setup

Connected in a few steps.

You need an active Wompi Colombia account. Full instructions are in the help center.

  1. Step 01

    Add the Eventtia event URL

    In Wompi, open My Account and set the event URL given in the help center. Wompi then reports every payment status to Eventtia.

  2. Step 02

    Copy two keys

    Copy the public key and the integrity key of your Wompi account.

  3. Step 03

    Choose Wompi in your event

    In Eventtia, open the event advanced settings, select Wompi and paste both keys.

  4. Step 04

    Test, then open registration

    Use Wompi test mode for a test payment. The keys and the event URL change between test and live mode, so update both.

Do I need my own Wompi account?

Yes. You connect your own Wompi account to your event, and payments go to that account.

Does Eventtia charge a fee on payments?

No. Eventtia charges no fee on payments. Wompi charges its own processing fees, under your contract with Wompi.

Which payment methods can attendees use?

The methods that your Wompi account offers for your country and currency. They depend on your Wompi contract and settings.

How do refunds work?

In-platform refunds are only available with Stripe. With Wompi, you make the refund in your Wompi account and cancel the registration in Eventtia, which updates the attendee record.

Can I use a different Wompi account for each event?

Yes. The payment provider and its credentials are set per event, in the event's advanced settings.

Which currency will attendees pay in?

You set the currency per event. Your Wompi account must accept that currency.
